My name is Alaina and I am a veterinary assistant here at Benicia Cat Clinic. I have 21 years of experience in the veterinary field, 16 of which were at a feline-only practice. I grew up with a dog, gerbils, goldfish and even a turtle, but I found my true passion when I started working with cats. You might say that I have the “dream job”. I get to go to work every day doing what I love with people that I admire and respect. And of course, there are the cats! It is a privilege and a pleasure to be a calming presence to our patients and to help them get and stay well. I also love talking with pet parents and helping to educate them to make life more enjoyable for them and their fuzzy family member.
On the home-front I have my partner, Audrey, two cats, Nuggett and Diesel, and our dog Cooper. I am hoping to settle in the East Bay area and either foster cats for a shelter or adopt a senior dog that deserves a warm couch to sleep on and a family to call her own.
I hope to make each visit you make to Benicia Cat Clinic as positive an experience as possible. As the sign says…”Keep Cats and Kitty On
